DJ Tocom Rubber Settles Lower; Investors Wait for Bargains -- Market Talk Tocom rubber futures settle 0.3% lower, taking cues from losses in Shanghai rubber and as prices were not able to breach the Y230/kg resistance hit early in the day. Kaname Gokon, deputy manager of research at Tokyo-based brokerage Okato Shoji says Tocom is correcting after gaining almost 10% in the last three trading days, but the downside is limited around Y220/kg. "Investors are waiting to buy-on-dip again and the next rebound is likely to test the important resistance at Y235/kg." Benchmark July rubber settles Y0.6 lower at Y227.6/kg off the intraday low of Y225.8/kg. (
